Instructions for use

Mode of action

ClearliQ Anti-Lice Treatment works by dissolving the wax that covers the exoskeleton of lice, killing them by dehydration. This is a purely physical and mechanical mode of action, no chemical insecticide is involved, making resistance impossible. Efficacy has been demonstrated through in vitro testing.

Directions for use

  1. 1Apply the lotion thoroughly to dry hair, from roots to tips, covering the scalp completely. Pay special attention to areas behind the ears and at the nape of the neck.
  2. 2Leave on for a minimum of 10 minutes to allow the formula to act on lice and nits. Do not rinse before the full time has elapsed.
  3. 3After the treatment time, comb through all sections of hair carefully using the fine-tooth lice comb. Combing is a critical step, it enhances the physical action of the product and ensures effective mechanical removal of lice and nits.
  4. 4Rinse thoroughly with water and shampoo as normal.
  5. 5To prevent reinfestation, reapplication is recommended 7 days after first use.
  6. 6Application in children must be carried out by an adult, following this procedure carefully.

Do not use if:

Questions about Anti-Lice Treatment

How does the mechanical mode of action work?

Rather than using a chemical insecticide that lice can potentially develop tolerance to, ClearliQ works through a physical process. The formula acts on the lice directly through a mechanical effect, which lice have no biological ability to adapt to. This makes resistance impossible.

My child had lice before and the previous product didn't work. Will this be different?

Yes. If a chemical treatment has failed before, it may be because the local lice population has developed some tolerance to it. ClearliQ's mechanical approach bypasses this entirely, providing consistent effectiveness regardless of prior treatment history.

Is one treatment always enough?

ClearliQ Anti-Lice Treatment is designed to be effective in one treatment cycle. After treatment, continue to check hair over the following days and follow any guidance on the packaging regarding follow-up. If signs of lice persist, consult a pharmacist.

Can I use it as a precaution even if we haven't found lice yet?

For prevention rather than active treatment, ClearliQ Protect Spray is the more suitable product. It is designed for regular daily use as a preventive routine in lice-prone environments such as schools.

How do I know the treatment has worked?

After combing and rinsing, check the hair carefully under good light. Dead lice will typically be visible in the comb. Continue to check hair over the next few days to confirm no active lice remain.
